KUNHEIM

Département : Haut-Rhin

Blason de Kunheim/Arms (crest) of Kunheim
Official blazon
French D'argent à la fasce de sinople, au chevron écimé de gueules et touchant le trait du chef.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1974.

The colours of the arms are derived from the arms of the Rathsamhausen family, Lords of Kunheim from 1394 until 1793. The green bar symbolises a fallen tree and thus forestry. The red chevron shows a roof for the village itself.
