The arms show in the upper part the deer antler, taken from the arms of the Counts of [[Württemberg]]. The whole area belonged to Württemberg since the 13<sup>th</sup> century. The diamonds in the lower right field are taken from the arms of the Dukes of Teck, the horns from the arms of the Counts of Urach. Both families played a major role the history of the district.
