===Origin/meaning===
The hurt is an allusion til the RAF roundel. The Arrow symbolised the lengthened Main Runway of the Station and the Bow symbolises the old Watling Road that runs through the Station. The Bow's string syggests the realigment of the Roas neccesitated by the Runway exstension. The badge was grantd in December 1958.
