HOLBAV
District/county (județ) : Brașov
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 20, 2013.
Fir and beech represent the forest richness of the area.
The cross is the symbolic image of the Orthodox Church dedicated to the Assumption, around which the spiritual life of the locality is concentrated.
The wavy bar symbolizes both the road connecting Ţara Bârsei and Țara Făgărașului, as well as Valea Holbavului, which crosses the locality.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
