Parti, au 1: d'azur à une crosse abbatiale d'or, le crosseron tourné à senestre, accompagnée de 7 étoiles du même, dont une au point du chef; au 2: d'argent à trois coquilles de sable.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 30, 1999.

The crosier and stars refer to the Abbey of St. Gertrudis in Nivelles, to which the village of Lasne historically belonged. The three scallops refer to the arms of the Hellin family, Lords of Ohain.
