Neusat already had its own seal in the 16<sup>th</sup> century. The seal showed a shield with in the right half the arms of [[Baden (State)|Baden]] and in the left half a grape-cutting knife. A later seal, dating from 1690 showed the present arms. In the 19<sup>th</sup> century the seals showed a vine. When the municipality wanted approved arms in 1900, the State Archives proposed the arms from 1690, which were approved in September 1900.
