  • (personal side) Azure, a rose-bush with three flowers, 1 and 2, or.

Origin/meaning

As common in US episcopal heraldry, the arms show the arms of the diocese impaled with the personal arms of the bishop.

The rose-bush is canting for the last name Busch (meaning bush in German), the flowers also being among the beautiful attributes of St. Mary and thus symbolise her.
