Heraldry of the World Civic heraldry of Austria - Österreichische Gemeindewappen |
KAIBING
State : Steiermark
District : Hartberg
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on July 3rd, 1978.
The arms are quite complex. The wolf and the linden leaves were taken from the arms of landowners, the Stubenberg and the Neuberger families.
In the municipality lies a small church, Maria Fieberbründl. Near the church is a healing spring. The arms represent the hollow mountain Kaibingsberg, the spring and the Church of Our Lady (monogram).
