MANFRED MELZER
Born: February 28, 1944
Deceased : August 9, 2018
Auxiliary bishop of Köln, 1995-2015; Titular Bishop of Carinola
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms show the cross of the Archdiocese and a small blue shield with an anchor. This is derived from the arms of the city of Solingen, where the bishop was born. In addition the Greek letters A and Ω were added as a symbol for Christianity.
