BRĂEȘTI (BUZĂU)

District/county (județ) : Buzău

Stema Brăești (Buzău)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 10, 2015.

The cross refers to the ruins of the Pinu Monastery, which dates from the medieval period, and to the other churches on the territory of the commune.

The ram's head represents the basic occupation of the inhabitants, shepherding.

The seven fir trees symbolize the forest and hunting richness of the area, and their number indicates the number of component villages.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
