CALDERS

Region : Catalonia
Province : Barcelona

Escudo de Calders/Arms (crest) of Calders
Official blazon
Catalan Escut caironat: de gules, 3 calderes d'or posades 2.1. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 13, 1985.

The arms are canting: they show three "calderes" (Catalan for "boiling-pots, cauldrons"). These canting arms are the ones of the Calders family, the landlords of the village.
