Official blazon

Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în patru cartiere. În primul și al patrulea cartier, în câmp de argint, se află câte o bandă undată de culoare albastră. În cartierele doi și trei, în câmp roșu, se află o sfeclă de zahăr, respectiv un spic de grâu, de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 20, 2008.

Sugar beet and wheat ear symbolize the specific crops of the area.

The wavy bars represent the two rivers that cross the locality, respectively Mureș and Arieș.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
