Origin/meaning
The olive tree branch is a symbol of peace and provides fruit and oil, which is also reflected in the motto In dando quod accipis (It is giving that you receive). The colour of the field is also reflecting oliv oil.
The curved lines flowing from the Transmontan Northeast, suggest running water and remind of the mountainous landscape.
