Origin/meaning
The arms were not officially granted.
The three trees symbolise the importance of the forestry in the area. The golden field represents the wealth generated with forestry.
The motto 'Fortunae meae, multorum faber' refers to the timber industry and the great name of the citizens of Gatineau.
