31ST INTELLIGENCE SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE
History: Constituted as 31 Communications Security Squadron on 30 Sep 1953. Activated on 8 Dec 1953. Inactivated on 8 May 1955. Consolidated (4 Aug 1995) with the 6931 Security Squadron, which was designated, and activated, on 1 Jul 1974. Redesignated as 6931 Electronic Security Squadron on 1 Aug 1979. Inactivated on 30 Sep1993. Redesignated as 31 Intelligence Squadron on 4 Aug 1995. Activated on 1 Oct 1995.
