District/county (județ) : Botoșani

Stema Răuseni

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 9, 2014.

The silver weather vane represents the meteorological station from Pogorăști, from the beginning of the 20th century.

The wavy lower field illustrates the first documentary mention of Răuseni village, in 1433: Răuseni on the Jijila river.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
