URICANI
District/county (județ) : Hunedoara
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 27, 1999.
The dam and the water symbolize the hydrographic and tourist richness of the area; the mining lamp reveals the tradition of mining activity; the deer's head and the flower remind the richness of the fauna and flora from the alpine area of the locality.
The mural crown is a specific sign attesting that the settlement is a city.
