Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, scartelat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp albastru, se află un stejar de aur. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp roșu, se află o sabie de argint. În vârful scutului, în dreapta, în câmp roșu, se află două ciocane de minerit încrucișate de argint. În vârful scutului, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află un munte de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 7, 2014.

The oak represents Horea's oak in the village of Țebea, a natural monument.

The silver sword refer to the Revolution of 1848, led in Transylvania by Avram Iancu, being buried in this locality.

The mining hammers symbolize the Adamul Vechi mine in the village of Căraci, a monument of industrial architecture.
