Official blazon
Pe fond roșu se află o acvilă bicefală, de argint, încoronată cu coroane de aur. Pe fond de azur se află cinci stele, de argint, așezate doi cu doi și unu. Câmpul verde este tăiat de un brâu undat, de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 14, 2004.
The two-headed eagle is taken from the arms of the Cantacuzino family, former lords of the village. The stars are a symbol of the Virgin Mary, the patron saint of the Poiana Monastery. The silver bar refers to the Prahova River.
