CORDĂRENI

District/county (județ) : Botoșani

Stema Cordăreni

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 14, 2019.

The acorns refer to the four centuries-old oaks on the territory of the locality.

The bow refers to the etymology of the name Cordăreni, which comes from Andreico Cordarul.

The wavy bar represents the Sitna and Jijia rivers, which cross the town.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
