Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în furcă. În interiorul scutului, în partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află o cruce treflată de aur. În partea inferioară, în câmp roșu, se află un rezervor de apă, poziționat în pal, de argint. În partea inferioară, în câmp verde, se află două fulgere de aur, unul poziționat în bară, iar celălalt în bandă, încrucișându-se în săritoare în partea de jos. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu 3 turnuri crenelate.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 20, 2013.
The cross refers to the church, declared a historical monument of local importance, built at the beginning of the 19th century, during the reign of Constantin Alexandru Ipsilanti.
The water tank symbolizes the cement factory that has been operating since 1923.
The two lightnings evoke the "Electric Star" light bulb factory, and their number indicates the number of localities affiliated to the city.
The mural crown with 3 crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
