Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, cu un câmp roșu, încărcat cu o șapă de albastru. În șapă se află o biserică de argint, redată frontal, având navă dreptunghiulară, cu intrare și două ferestre de culoare neagră de exonartex, cu acoperiș în două ape, prevăzut cu un turn-clopotniță cu două ferestre de culoare neagră și cruce în vârf. În partea dreaptă a scutului, în câmp roșu, este plasat un cap de cerb privind spre stânga, de aur. În partea stângă a scutului, în câmp roșu, se află o floare-de-colț de aur. Scutul este timbrat cu o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 31, 2019.
The church refers to the wooden Orthodox Church in the village of Poșaga de Sus declared a historical monument, as well as to the Izvorul Monastery known to pilgrims.
The deer's head signifies the hunting richness of the area.
The edelweiss, the queen of flowers, is found in the local flora in the ethnobotanical reservation "Scărița Belioara".
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
