Official blazon

Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află Sf. Gheorghe ucigând balaurul de aur, flancat de soarele de aur și luna de argint. În vârful scutului, în câmp verde, se află un brâu undat de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 18, 2009.

The image of St. George symbolizes the patron saint of the commune.

The sun and the moon signify the light and courage of the inhabitants.

The wavy bar represents the Mureș River.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
