TURIA

District/county (județ) : Covasna

Stema Turia

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 12, 2007.

The fortress represents the Balvanyos fortress, and the wavy bar symbolizes the richness of mineral waters of the area.

The golden crown together with the armed arm represent elements that are part of the coat of arms of the Apor family, which for centuries patronized the church and the school.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
