VALEA MĂCRIȘULUI

District/county (județ) : Ialomița

Stema Valea Măcrișului

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 19, 2016.

The sorrel branches (măcriș), which in the last century covered a valley in the area, give the name of the locality.

The great bustard represents the symbol bird of Bărăgan.

The wheat ears represent the grain richness of the locality, and their number indicates the number of component villages of the commune.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
