VERMEȘ

District/county (județ) : Caraș-Severin

Stema Vermeș

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 28, 2005.

The wavy bar symbolizes the Pogonici riverbed and the vicinity of the Timiș river.

The wreath with the ears of wheat symbolizes the basic activity of the inhabitants of the area, agriculture.

The deer's head represents the rich wildlife of the area.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
