ȘĂULIA

District/county (județ) : Mureș

Stema Șăulia

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 29, 2014.

The lights represent the archaeological discoveries and the richness of the natural gas in the area; until recently, in the area, home lighting was practiced with methane gas lamps.

Wheat ears symbolize cereal crops specific to the area.

The fish represent the fishing lakes from Șăulia, as well as the Christian symbol, the ancestral faith of the inhabitants.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
