STREMȚ

District/county (județ) : Alba

Stema Stremț
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 15, 2014.

The cross represents the Diocese of Geoagi.

The walnut treerefers to the old name of the town, Nucet.

The wall symbolizes the Diod fortress in the locality, and the raven is part of the coat of arms of the Iancu de Hunedoara family, to which the fortress belonged.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
