Distinctive Unit Inisignia, Descpription: A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Sable, a key wards to chief and a lightning bolt saltirewise Argent, between two spearheads in pale issuing to point Or; all within a bordure checked of the second and Azure. Attached around the sides and top of the shield a tripartite black scroll inscribed "CHAOS CLARITAS VICTORIA" in silver.

Oriental blue and silver gray are the colors traditionally used by Military Intelligence. Gold is emblematic of honor and high achievement. Blue and black symbolize night and day and the overt and covert operations of the unit's around the clock mission. The crossed key and lightning bolt represent security and electronic warfare. The arrowheads highlight combat support; the checkered border denotes strategy and countermeasure.
The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia, was both approved on 9th March, 2000.
