History: Established as VFA-125 on 13 November 1980. Adopted nickname and insignia of VA-125 which had been disestablished in 1977. Inactive 1 October 2010–12 January 2017. Is the Fleet Replacement Squadron for F-35C
Homeport: NAS Lemoore, California.
