HSC-8 EIGHTBALLERS, US NAVY
History: Established on 1 November 1969 as Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 8 (HS-8) (the second Squadron bearing that designation). Redesignated Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 8 (HSC-8) on 28 September 2007.
Homeport: NAS North Island, San Diego, California.
