Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 16, 1996.
The agricultural symbols are taken from the historical seal of the municipality from 1781 The St. Andrew's cross is taken from the imprint of the seal of the municipality of Koš from 1680, as the village of Kanianka was (re)settled by inhabitants of Koš.
