Origin/meaning
The coat of arms shows the St. Theresia church. The building of the baroque church started in 1754, and it was the first stone structure built in the young town until four years earlier known as Friedrichsdorf (after colonel Friedrich Schmidt, commander of the Gradiska regiment).
