Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on May 28, 2024.
The blue field and the silver bend refer to the Champagne region. The hows symbolise the vineyards and the winegrowers' revolt of 1911 during which the Iron Battalion was formed on April 9 with a gathering on the site of the Polisot station. The mill wheels represent the two paper mills: Besaces and Buton, and the river Seine.
The motto also refers to the revolt.
