Escudo de prata, dois ramos de sobreiro de verde, folhados e glandados do mesmo, com as metades inferiores descortiçadas de vermelho, passados em aspa, entre duas machadas corticeiras de vermelho, encabadas de negro, com os gumes volvidos para o centro e postas nos flancos. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro: “ SANTANA DO MATO “.
