BRAD (HUNEDOARA)
District/county (județ): Hunedoara
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 18, 2002.
The tree is derived from the 16th century seal of Brad municipality.
Dendrite represents the richness of the deposits in the area.
Crossed hammers and the entrance to the mine reveal the share of mining activity in the local economy.
The mural crown, with 5 crenellated towers, a sign specific to urban centers, attests to the fact that the settlement is a municipality.
