Official blazon

Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat și despicat în partea inferioară. În partea superioară, în câmp albastru cu bordură de argint, se află trei bizanți de argint. În vârful scutului, la dreapta în câmp roșu și la stânga în câmp argintiu, se află o cruce în contra-culori, trecând peste sfâșiere. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 20, 2016.

The silver border refers to the name of the locality Cordun = border.

The golden coins represents the metal industry in the area, and their figure indicates the number of component villages of the commune.

The cross symbolizes the local religions, namely: Orthodox, Catholic and Armenian.
