I rött fält en heraldisk källa av silver och blått samt däröver ett latinskt kors av silver mellan två stolpvis ställda svärd, likaledes av silver.

Origin/meaning

The arms were assumed in 1953 when Götene was raised to the status of a Burough. It symbolises the Legend of St Elin of Skövde, who was martyred at Götene. Where she was killed a Well sprung forward.
