KAUNERTAL

State : Tirol
District : Landeck

Wappen von Kaunertal

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 2, 1988.

The blue ibex horn refers to the ibex and othr animals in the high mountains. It also symbolises the power of the rivers coming from the mountains. The star is the symbol of St. Mary and the importance of the local church, of which she is the patron saint.
