Arms of Trehøje

Origin/meaning

The arms have been in use since 1972, but have never been officially granted.

In 1982 the municipality tried to register the arms, but the proposal was denied. The three hills in the base are canting, the name means three hills. The colours have been shown as black and green, as shown above and below.

Arms of Trehøje

The clover leaf symbolises the four municipalities that merged in 1970, as well as the agricultural character. The wheat and the Erica leaves represent the replacement of the moors with fields.
