Province : Aust-Agder

Arms of Evje og Hornnes

Official blazon

På gull botn to svarte gruvevogner.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 24, 1992.

The arms show two mine carts as mining has been of great importance for the area already for many centuries. One of Europe's largest nickel mines is in the municipality.
