В зеленом поле - золотой подсолнух на таковом же стебле - с вольной частью - четырехугольником, примыкающим изнутри к верхнему правому углу герба Алексеевского района с воспроизведёнными в нем фигурами из герба Белгородской области.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 28, 2015.
The arms show a sunflower, as the region is famous for its sunflower cultivation since the 19th century, and the production of sunflower oil.
The arms were already designed and used by the region since 1999.
In the 1980s a different design was used, but never officially granted.
The arms are also used by the capital of the district, Alexeyevka.
