Kultakentässä musta kaarityviö, jolla seisoo musta, punahelttainen teeri; tyviössä kolme kultakruunua asetettuina 2+1.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 13, 1959.

The black grouse symbolises the area's vast forests. The three crowns refers to the mark of the border again in connection with the Treaty of Täyssinä in 1595.
