BIRŠTONAS
County : Kaunas
Official blazon
Skydo mėlyname lauke pavaizduota fantastinė šokanti auksinė su sidabriniais dantimis žuvis, kuriai iš viršugalvio (lyg banginiui) trykšta sidabrinė vandens čiurkšlė.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on August 21, 1995.
The arms symbolizes the springs of mineral water, vital for this resort town. Also it reminds the past symbol of Birštonas: the sculpture of fish with mineral water running out of mouth, which was drowned together with large area of town, when the Kaunas water-power plant was built.
