Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on November 18, 1974.
The old high-road from Graz to Laibach (now Ljubljana) passed through the municipality and crossed the river Mur here. It was used by the stagecoaches of the Austrian Post, symbolised by the "Posthorn".
