Escut caironat truncat i semipartit: 1r. d'or, un gos de sable passant; al 2n. d'atzur, un mig vol abaixat d'argent i al 3r. de gules, 3 estrelles d'or de 6 puntes. Per timbre una corona mural de ciutat.

The arms were granted on April 24, 1989.
The arms of Calella are traditionally canting: they show a "ca" and an "ala" (Catalan for "dog" and "wing" respectively). The stars in the lower left half are an attribute of St. Mary, the local patron saint.
