REČICA OB SAVINJI

Arms of Rečica ob Savinji

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were probably granted between 1580 and 1597 when the village received town rights from Emperor Rudolf II.

The arms show a tree on a hill and in the upper half a golden star, derived from the arms of the Counts of Celje.
