BAZINCOURT-SUR-EPTE
Département:Eure
Additions:1808 Tierceville
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on November 27, 2020.
The double headed eagle refers to the villages of Bazincourt and Tierceville, merged in 1808. The eagle also is taken from the arms of Aymar de Mainneville, lord of Bazincourt in the 16th and early 17th century.
The two towers refer to the (formerly) six castle sin the municipality. The wavy bar symbolises the Eure river. The green colour refers to the Bleu forest.
