PARISH OF JALUBÍ
Diocese: Olomouc
Decanate: Uherský Brod
Denomination : Roman Catholic
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The Lamb of God is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, the patron of the parish church. The lamb is holding up a quartered banner of red and silver, the colours of the Cistercians of Velehrad, the founders and historical owners of the parish and municipality of Jalubí. The three roses in chief reference to the three municipalities in the parish: Jalubí, Traplice and Sušice. The rose itself was chosen as an attribute of Our Lady of the Rosary, patron of the Traplice chapel, while the blue background in the main field represents patronage of the Virgin Mary over the chapel in Sušice. The red in the chief is for the blood of St. John the Baptist.
