Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, scartelat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp albastru, se află un pod și 3 valuri de argint. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp roșu, se află un leu încoronat, de aur. În vârful scutului, în câmp roșu, se află un ciorchine de strugure de aur. În vârful scutului, în câmp albastru, se află o sabie de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu 5 turnuri crenelate.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 20, 2014.

The bridge is the road bridge over the Danube-Black Sea Canal, which is symbolised by the waves. The lion refers to the struggle during the First World War. The grapes refer to the locally important viticulture.

The fourth quarter shows a dagger from the second century BC discovered in 1955 in a Medgidia cement quarry.
